Dodge Ridge To Open Thursday Morning
Dodge Ridge, CA — The Dodge Ridge Ski Resort will officially open for the new year Thursday morning at eight o´clock.
According to Communications Manager Andy Wyllie the lifts will be in full operation at 9am. Dodge Ridge has eight lifts, approximately 60 runs and five terrain parks.
Adult day tickets are $52, but discounted tickets can be purchased at any SaveMart store.
New this year is the 16,000 square foot Family Lodge which will house ticketing and guest services, the children´s snowsports center, preschool snowplay and the Northfork Bistro.
Dodge Ridge is expecting an abundance of snow this week with a storm moving into the area late this evening. Snowfall above 5,000 feet is expected to be in the neighborhood of from one to two feet according to the National Weather Service.
The base elevation at Dodge Ridge is 6,600 feet while the summit is measured at 8,200 feet.
