Columbia College Student Fatally Injured In Weekend Collision

Sonora, Ca — Two people died as a result of injuries sustained following a collision on Hwy 120/108 Saturday afternoon.
According to a CHP report, the accident occurred shortly before 1:30pm, west of Knights Ferry. Pronounced dead were 18-year-old Columbia College Student Michelle Dominguez and an unidentified 19-year-old Los Angeles man.
Traffic was backed up on Hwy 120/108 for quite some time Saturday afternoon. No further information is immediately available.
