Pinecrest, Ca — Overnight Dodge Ridge Ski Resort received five inches of snow at the base and 13 inches at the summit.
Spokesperson Andy Whyllie says a final decision has not been made as to when the ski season will begin.
“It is a little tough to tell right now because we still don´t know what all this storm is going to give us,” says Whyllie. “But, we are very hopeful that maybe we can open this week.”
Whyllie notes that Dodge Ridge typically opens in Mid-December, so if the resort can open in the next few days, it would be ahead of schedule.
