Large Quantity Of Methamphetamine Seized In Sonora

Sonora, CA — A large quantity of methamphetamine (2.35 ounces) was seized by narcotics detectives from the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department Monday at 18835 Cherokee Rd.

After receiving information there was possible drug trafficking in the area, detectives arrested 51 year old Larry Martin Pacocha for possession of methamphetamine for sale. He was booked into the County Jail with bail set at $50,000.

Also arrested was 27 year old Jade Jill Mowry who works in the food industry in Sonora. She was charged with possession of methamphetamine and booked into the County Jail with bail set at $10,000.

The packaged methamphetamine was discovered in consumable product containers with false bottoms, a common practice utilized by drug users, dealers and traffickers to conceal their stash.

According to Lt. Dan Bressler meth seizures in the foothills are generally less than an ounce. This seizure had a street value of several thousand dollars.

While detectives were on the scene, 23 year old Kasey Allen Questo arrived. He was booked into the County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $3,000.
