Calaveras County Narrows Search For New CAO

Sponsored by:

Sonora, Ca — Approximately twenty-five applied for the position of Calaveras County Administrator, and this week the Board of Supervisors met to narrow the list down to four.

“We will be doing interviews the second week of December,” says interim CAO Brent Harrington.

Harrington estimates that a new CAO will be hired and on board by the middle of January. He notes that the majority of the applicants have been from the state of California. Harrington stepped into the role of interim CAO on October 1st following the resignation of Tom Mitchell.

Harrington discusses this and many other issues on this weekend´s Mother Lode Views. The show is aired on AM-1450 KVML Saturday morning at 10:30 and Sunday morning at 8:30. Mother Lode Views can also be heard on STAR 92.7 Sunday morning at nine o´clock and on Today´s Country, KKBN (93.5) at 10am.
