Murphys, Ca — An early Saturday morning residential structure fire at 350 Wildwood Dr. in Murphys is now extinguished, and the cause is under investigation.
“When the first unit got on scene, the structure was about three quarters involved so it had definitely been burning for a little while,” says Chris Jensen with the Emergency Command Center in San Andreas.
A fire investigator has been called in to help determine the cause of the blaze that was first reported minutes before 5am. Eight engines and one water tender were dispatched. Units participating included CAL Fire, Murphys, Altaville-Melones, Angels City and Ebbetts Pass.
