New Groveland District Ranger Selected

Sonora, CA — New York City native Maggie Dowd will fill the position of Groveland District Ranger on the Stanislaus National Forest effective January 6, 2008.
Dowd will be located in Buck Meadows, approximately seven miles east of Groveland.
Doud is currently the Deputy Monument Manager at the Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Area on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington state.
Dowd has over 20 years experience with the U.S. Forest Service after having served with both VISTA and the Peace Corp.
