Stanton Waives Right To Preliminary Hearing

Sonora, Ca — David Roy Stanton, the San Andreas man accused of murdering Jon Flaherty of Wallace back on August 25th, appeared in Tuolumne County Superior Court this morning.
Stanton waived his right to a preliminary hearing, and Judge Douglas C. Boyack set an arraignment plea and trial setting date of October 29th, at 1:30pm, in Department One of Tuolumne County Superior Court.
Stanton´s sister, Shawna Stanton, also appeared before the Judge this morning. She allegedly served as an accessory to the murder. She was also ordered to appear for an arraignment and trial setting on October 29th, at 1:30pm.
