Motorcyclist Arrested On Numerous Charges

Sonora, CA — 41 year old Darren Silva of Sonora was arrested on numerous charges early Sunday afternoon.
While riding his motorcycle Silva failed to yield to a Sonora Police officer. Silva headed southbound on Washington St. and then eastbound on Hwy 108 until he exited at Hess Ave. At that point he was arrested but had to be physically removed from his bike.
Silva was charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest, driving on a suspended license and being in possession of marijuana while driving.
