Calaveras May Add To Trinitas EIR
San Andreas, CA — On November 6, the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will consider adding the golf course into the environmental review on the proposed Ridge at Trinitas project.
The developers are proposing to build a lodge and 13-home gated community around their existing 18-hole golf course. Currently the course is not subject to any review since it was built prior to the project application.
Tuesday the board was set to hire a consultant for developing the project´s final Environmental Impact Report. But instead, indefinitely postponed that decision and directed staff to come up with a new baseline for the report.
Supervisor Tom Tryon says anything relating to the project should be included in the EIR.
The county also issued a warning to the developer to stop commercial and building activity on the site until there is a county-permitted project.
