Local High Schools Set For Another Football Weekend

Sonora, CA — Week Five of the prep football season has arrived.

After three weeks in a row on the road the 3-1 Sonora Wildcats will be hosting Sierra this evening. Last year the Wildcats rolled over Sierra 35-15. The STAR 92.7 broadcast will get underway at approximately seven o´clock following the junior varsity game.

1-3 Summerville hits the road to meet Ripon. The Bears lost to Ripon 38-26 a year ago. The KKBN (93.5FM) broadcast will start at approximately 7:15 after the junior varsity game.

3-1 Bret Harte will meet Hughson on the road. Last year the Bullfrogs lost 34-7.

3-1 Calaveras travels to Patterson. The Redskins lost this matchup by 20 last year 34-14.

3-1 Oakdale will host Ceres this evening. The Mustangs easily won this game a year ago 27-7.
