Vote On Whether Purchase Properties For Law Enforcement Center Moved To November

Sponsored by:

Sonora, Ca — A decision on whether to purchase 47.68 acres of land for a new Tuolumne County Justice and Law Enforcement Center has been postponed until the November 6th Board of Supervisors meeting.

It was due to an oversight, in which the County did not have the proper notification published. The properties owned by the Gardella and Martin families are located at the intersection of Hwy 108 and Old Wards Ferry Rd. The purchase would cost the county $4.2 million.
