San Andreas, CA — Still another Mother Lode motorcycle accident this week but fortunately this one did not result in a fatality.
36 year old William Brown III of Stockton attempted to negotiate a left hand turn on Carol Kennedy Drive a half-a-mile west of Hwy 49 late Tuesday afternoon. According to the CHP report Brown was traveling at approximately 30mph when he ran off the right edge of the roadway losing control of his 2007 Harley Davidson.
The bike overturned … he was ejected but only suffered cuts and abrasions. He was not hospitalized.
Monday, a 60 year English motorcylcist lost his life in a single vehicle accident near the north end of the New Melones Lake Bridge.
Motorcycle accidents have now accounted for nine fatalities in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties this year.
