Election Day In Calaveras

San Andreas, CA — Its Election Day in Calaveras County. Four special districts will be selecting members to serve on their respective boards of directors.

Running for two open terms on the Calaveras County Water District are Incumbent Charles Hebrard of San Andreas, Incumbent Jeff Davidson of Valley Springs, Phil McCartney of Mokelumne Hill, and Carol Barzee of Valley Springs.

In the Foothill Fire Protection District there are four terms open. Running for office are Incumbent Ed Anderson, Appointed Incumbent Ken Glissman, Appointed Incumbent Ronny Spradlin, Steve Gleason, Robert Fry, Jeffrey Palm, Jon Rolland, and Jerry Smith.

For the Valley Springs Public Utility District there are four terms. Running for office are Incumbent Lucille Allee, Incumbent William Whitaker, Appointed Incumbent Connie Gleason, Appointed Incumbent Robert Robertson, Mary DeWitt, Delayne Glenn, and Manual Ponte.

And finally for the Altaville-Melones Fire Protection District there is one term. Running for office are Appointed Incumbent Michael Fullaway and Ann Radford.

The county Elections Department will be receiving ballots until 8 p.m. tonight. The department is located at 891 Mountain Ranch Rd, in San Andreas. For more information, contact the Election Department at (209) 754-6376.
