Calaveras Public Works Director Reportedly Will Resign On October 1st
San Andreas, Ca — Calaveras County Public Works Director Rob Houghton reportedly will resign from his position on October 1st.
According to the Stockton Record, Houghton said in a written statement that he plans to leave his position to work privately as a consulting engineer and spend more time with his family.
Houghton has spent 14 years with the county, working in the solid waste division before taking over as Public Works Director.
Earlier this year, County Administrator Tom Mitchell announced that he will resign effective October 12th.
