Twain Harte Man Will Spend Time In Prison For Stanislaus County Accident

Modesto, Ca — A Twain Harte man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for causing a fatal four-vehicle collision this past January in Modesto.

According to the Modesto Bee, 56 year old Robert Luis Meza plead guilty to a charge of felony drunk driving in Stanislaus County Superior Court on Monday. Meza was under the influence of prescription medications when his Geo Storm struck a Buick Skylark driven by 80 year old Weston Garth Hamilton. Hamilton was later pronounced dead at Doctors Medical Center. Meza has had prior convictions for driving under the influence.
