$22 Million In Improvements Underway For Calaveras County Schools
Valley Springs, CA — When students return to Valley Springs Elementary School July 30th, they will quickly notice a new look to their campus.
According to the Stockton Record, they will witness construction crews building new classrooms and a library.
This will mark the initial phase of a three year $22 million upgrade on a number of Calaveras County Unified School District campuses.
The largest project is a $7 million 500 seat performing arts center scheduled for construction early next year at Calaveras High School.
The funding is provided by a bond issue that was passed by Calaveras County voters last year.
