Negotiations Continue For Justice Administration Center Property
Sonora, CA — According to Tuolumne County Administrative Officer Craig Pedro, negotiations are well down the road for the purchase of property that would house a new justice administration center.
While Pedro would not divulge the location or the potential cost of the property, he did say that information could be made public within the very near future.
Pedro added that the need for such a facility has been known for quite some time and the timing may be perfect with the passage of AB900 which would provide for state funding assistance.
Pedro likens the current jail facility to the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose saying it´s totally inadequate for today´s needs.
