Sonora, CA — Due to the Friday initiated walkout of members of Teamsters Local 439, garbage was not picked up yesterday.
As a result Stanislaus National Forest Spokesman Jerry Snyder is requesting that if you plan on visiting either the Pinecrest or Beardsley campgrounds please remove ALL your disposable items as the dumpsters are already filled to capacity.
Plastic garbage bags are available at the respective ranger stations.
