Draft Calaveras Transportation Plan Ready For Review
San Andreas, CA –The Calaveras Council of Governments has announced the release of the Draft 2007 Regional Transportation Plan for public review.
The council is the county´s regional transportation agency.
The document provides a plan for regional transportation issues facing the county and the City of Angels Camp for the next 20 years.
The plan identifies the intersection of Highway 49 and Murphys Grade Road as having the highest annual average daily traffic volume in the county. Other busy intersections include the Highway 49 and Highway 4 junction.
The council will hold a public comment period at 6:30 p.m., July 18 in the Board of Supervisors chambers at the county Government Center.
