Pilot Identified In P.G.& E. Power Line Clipping
San Andreas, CA — According to Sgt. Dave Seawell of the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department, Allan Walker of Bakersfield has been identified as the pilot of the WWII vintage T-6 Warlock trainer plane that clipped several P.G.& E. power lines in the Tulloch Lake area Sunday afternoon.
The Sheriff´s Department reported Sunday afternoon that a private plane had clipped several power lines at 2:19 near the South Shore Point Cabana Campground at Tulloch Lake. The plane suffered some wing damage.
Power was interrupted when the lines fell into Tulloch Lake. P.G.& E. deactivated the lines. At the same time the Tuolumne Boat Patrol remained on the lake guiding crafts within the immediate vicinity.
P.G.& E. Spokesperson Susan Simon has confirmed that 127 customers had their power restored by 8:28 Sunday evening.
