Murder Suspect Led Law Enforcement To Tate’s Body
Merced, Ca — Merced County authorities say is it was one of the killers that actually led law enforcement to the deceased body of Terrence Tate earlier this week off Hwy 108 near the Little Sweden turnoff.
Authorities say Charles Hukill Jr. had a heavy conscience, and confessed to killing the Atwater man over 35 dollars in cash, some jewelry and a cell phone.
Hukill Jr. and fellow suspect Beau Ordonez were arrested Wednesday after Hukill Jr. led authorities to the body.
The pair met Tate on Tuesday night at a bar, where the victim was reportedly flashing money around and buying patrons drinks. When Tate drunkenly walked out of the bar, authorities say the suspects offered him a ride home, then beat and strangled him in the car.
