Five Report Minor Injuries Following Hwy 4 Collision
Avery, Ca — Five individuals reported injuries following a two vehicle accident Monday afternoon near Avery.
41 year old Daryl Miller of Avery was traveling eastbound on Hwy 4 in a full size Peterbilt truck at around 2:50pm. According to the CHP, Miller activated his right turn signal, and began to slow prior to initiating a right turn into a driveway.
21 year old Shoua Ly, who was behind Miller in her 2001 Toyota Corrolla, attempted to pass the truck on the right shoulder as it slowed. The two vehicles collided.
