Tuolumne County Library Announces Summer Hours

Sonora, Ca — Two branches in the Tuolumne County Library system are transferring to summer hours.

The Twain Harte Branch of Tuolumne County Library will change effective June 13th. New hours will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 1 pm to 4:30 pm, Wednesday and Saturday 10 am to 2 pm. Summer hours will continue through the week of August 14th. The Twain Harte Branch is located in the commercial center at 18701 Tiffeni Drive in Twain Harte.

The Pinecrest Branch of Tuolumne County Library opened for the summer on Tuesday, May 29 from 2-5 pm. The branch is located at the Pinecrest Resort adjacent to the art gallery and will be open Tuesday through Friday from 2-5 pm until Labor Day weekend.

Reading programs and craft activities will be provided for children at all county branches as part of the Get a clue @ your library” county-wide reading program for children. It kicks off at the Main Library in Sonora on Monday, June 18.

Regular library hours will continue at all other branches as follow:

Main Library, Sonora, 480 Greenley Road

Monday thru Wednesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Groveland Branch, 18990 Hw 120

Monday thru Thursday 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday thru Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

MiWuk Branch, 24411 Sierra Park Drive

Tuesday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thursday-Friday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Tuolumne Branch, 18636 Main Street

Tuesday-Wednesday 1p.m. to 5 p.m.

Thursday 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday-Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Law Library, 99 N Washington St., Sonora

Wednesday-Thursday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. thru June 30

Beginning July: Tuesday thru Thursday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The WOW mobile library is still under repairs from an accident occurring in February and should be back on the road by September.
