Boosters: Frog Jump Well Attended

Angels Camp, CA — The Angels Camp Boosters say attendance was higher than expected at theOriginal Frog Jump Jubilee.”
The Boosters held their own frog jumps separate from the fair over the weekend at Utica Park.
Booster President Sandra Date says most of the entries were children. There were 30 frogs and frog jockeys that participated in the finals Sunday.
As previously announced, the winner was Bayli Riggs of Oregon. She won the trophy and $750 with her frogFever” who jumped 18 feet 2 ½ inches.
The Angels Camp Boosters says it will distribute the proceeds from the event to local community projects and other non-profit organizations.
