Wildcats To Host Soccer Playoff Match

Sonora, CA — Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 the Sonora High School girls´ soccer team will host Placer High School from Auburn in an opening round playoff game.
The Wildcats will go into this match with a record of 23-0-1. They are the third ranked team in the entire country trailing only high schools in North Carolina and Michigan.
According to Head Coach Buzz Garvin the Wildcats have scored 130 goals and only allowed five to be scored against them. They have the top four scorers in the league and the second and third leaders in assists.
If the Wildcats win Tuesday they would host another playoff match Thursday afternoon at Dunlavy Field.
