Tuolumne County Board Of Supervisors Set For Tuesday Meeting
Sonora, CA — Following the emotional meeting of a week ago in which the Board handed down its decision regarding Tuolumne General Hospital, the Board will return to a more “normal” order of business today.
Proclamations and commendations at Tuesday´s meeting will include consideration of proclaiming April, 2007 as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Tuolumne County, consideration of proclaiming April 15 through April 21 as National Library Week and consideration of recognizing the Tuolumne General Hospital Auxilliary for 40 years of valuable service and leadership that it has provided the community.
There will be consideration of approving a comment letter to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation regarding the Peoria Wildlife Management Area Environmental Assessment in addition to consideration of approving new salary ranges for engineering classifications, adding additional positions to the Public Works Department and revising the classification specification of project manager.
In addition to the traditional supervisorial reports, there will also be a second reading of an ordinance amending speed limits on Tuolumne Road North.
