Copperopolis Woman Injured On Motorcycle

Copperopolis, CA — 53-year old Juanita Fordham was injured Friday while driving a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle on O´Byrnes Ferry Road in Copperopolis.
The CHP says Fordham was driving along when a 1984 Nissan pulled out in front of her from the Poker Flat subdivision.
Fordham tried to brake but lost control of her motorcycle and struck the rear of the vehicle.
She was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center for complaints of pain. The driver of the Nissan, 75-year old Donald Hirschaut, was reportedly uninjured.
