Memorial Service Scheduled For Yosemite Expert

Yosemite, CA — N. King Huber, who was a leading expert on the geology of Yosemite National Park, will be remembered at a Memorial Service on April 20.
Huber wrote the books, “The Geological Story of Yosemite National Park,” and “Geological Ramblings In Yosemite.” He had also helped prepare definitive geological maps of the entire park.
Huber recently succumbed to cancer at the age of 81. The Memorial Service will be held at 1:30pm at the USGS Menlo Park Science Center, in Menlo Park, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Yosemite Association, P.O. Box 230, El Portal, CA 95318.
