Vallecito Artist Retrospective Featured At Gallery

San Andreas, CA — A 60-year retrospective of a local artist is being featured at the Calaveras County Arts Council.
This one-man show is in honor of 85-year old Robert B. Atkinson of Vallecito. The council gallery in San Andreas is to be transformed into a replication of Atkinson´s studio. It will feature his varied works, and tools, including a press and workbenches.
The exhibit will be on display beginning April 21 through May 28.
Atkinson was a founding member of the Arts Council and served on its board of directors for several years.
