Calaveras Queen Contestants Announced

Angels Camp, CA — Contestants for the 2007 Miss Calaveras Scholarship Pageant and the Calaveras Saddle Queen Competition were announced this week by the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee.

This year´s fair takes place from May 16 through the 20.

Competing in Miss Calaveras is Amy Mazzaferro of Angels Camp, Errin Olson of Murphys, Shayni Emerson of Avery, Roseann Fischer of Paloma, April Fermin of Valley Springs, Aimee Eason of Valley Springs, Kelsey Landreth of Vallecito, Jessica Taylor of Arnold, Kelli Yarbrough of Murphys and cousins Rachel Brunson and Lauren Devalle of Angels Camp and Murphys.

The pageant takes place at 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 16 on the main stage.

In the Saddle Queen Competition this year are Crystle Carter of West Point, Samantha Smith of Wilseyville, Emily Lily of Murphys, Kayte Lowry of Angels Camp, Stephanie Walker of Wilseyville and Kelsey Marcus of Murphys.

The competition begins at 1 p.m., May 16.
