San Andreas, CA — Members of the Calaveras County 4-H program showed up to Tuesday´s Board of Supervisors meeting to thank them for their support.
The board at the same time approved a resolution recognizing the accomplishments of the 4-H programs throughout the county.
The program is designed to help young people discover their potential through education and experience.
Three boys, one from the Mokelumne Hill 4-H and two from Tri-Dam, stood up to introduce themselves and share what they have done. They also gave the board gifts.
There are 10 clubs throughout the county with projects in animal care, arts and science.
