Sieben To Depart Sonora High School

Sonora, CA — Sonora High Golden Regiment Marching Band Director Pat Sieben will be departing the Mother Lode at the conclusion of the school year to take a similar position at Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas.
No official announcment of Sieben´s departure has been made as of this date. Sieben, Superintendent Rob Gaskill and Principal Terry Clark were unavailable for comment.
However KVML News has learned that Sieben announced to the band members and chaperones on the just completed Colorado trip that he had interviewed for the position on the Kansas campus and accepted an offer. Sieben reportedly learned of the opening through an associate at Cal State Stanislaus.
