Sonora Agencies Receive $20,000 A.T.& T. Grant
Sonora, CA — Sierra Planning and Housing Alliance and Amador-Tuolumne Community Action Agency, or A-TCAA, have been awarded a $20,000 grant from the A.T.&.T. Foundation.
There are two goals for the grant. The first is to expand A-TCAA´s services and safety net resources technology project to streamline and strengthen client services through a unified client intake database.
The second goal is to create an online Housing Resource Center integrated into
A-TCAA´s information websites: infonettc.com, infonetcc.com and infonetac.com.
S.P.H.A.´s role is to gather and collate information on available housing programs and services across the range of household income including homebuyer programs, rental housing, special needs housing and other models of affordable housing.
An online Housing Resource Center will centralize housing assistance and referrals for low-income residents, improve coordination among housing providers in the region and identify gaps in housing resources.
