Jamestown Residents Arrested Following Dispute

Jamestown, CA — Late Thursday night while on routine patrol, Deputy George Woodward saw two adults and a young child standing on the side of 5th Ave at Hwy. 108.
They had gotten out of a pickup truck that was parked in the middle of 5th Ave. and still running.
26 year old Anthony Stone and 39 year old Donna Bateman were arguing with each other when the deputy intervened. Bateman was giving Stone, her boyfriend, a ride home when an argument began.
The Deputy found Bateman to be quite intoxicated and acting irrationally. With the assistance of the Highway Patrol, she was arrested and taken to jail. Stone had outstanding warrants and was also taken in to custody.
A friend arrived to take custody of Bateman´s daughter.
