Copperopolis Woman Injured In Car Accident

Copperopolis, CA — Katrina Danner of Copperopolis is recovering from major injuries she received Tuesday evening while she was driving a 1999 Chevy on Copper Cove Drive.
The CHP says due to the 38-year olds intoxication, she failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle continued in a straight path off the roadway and over an embankment. The vehicle overturned and Danner was ejected out the driver´s window.
The Chevy came to rest with Danner underneath it. She is at Modesto Memorial Hospital in serious condition.
