Angels Camp, CA — Thanks to the California Transportation Commission, the Angels Camp Bypass is ready to move along.
The future of the bypass became uncertain recently when the cost of the project went up by $13 million and planners had to scramble to make up the difference.
A $4.4 million piece of the puzzle was secured last week when the commission OK´d the funding request.
The $60 million bypass would start at the Highway 4/49 intersection and connect with Highway 4 near the Rolleri Bypass.
