Two Fees Passed By Sonora City Council … Day Appointed
Sonora, CA — By a unanimous vote Monday evening the Sonora City Council passed a fee increase for impounded vehicle release and a false alarms fee for both businesses and residences.
The impounded vehicle release fee will be increased from $50 to $100. Effective immediately, a $50 penalty fee will be assessed for the fourth false alarm in a six month period. Both fees were recommended by Police Chief Mace McIntosh.
In addition, Joe Day, already a member of the Tuolumne Utilities District Board of Directors, was appointed to represent the city on the Tuolumne County Airport Land Use Commission. He´ll be replacing Delbert Rotelli who also serves on the T.U.D. Board of Directors.
