Moss Beach Resident Arrested On Drug Charges

Sonora, CA — A Moss Beach resident was arrested late Saturday evening on numerous drug charges.
An officer from the Sonora Police Department stopped a Dodge Neon at Circle Drive and Golf Links Rd. in Sonora for an expired registration at 11:49.
The driver was identified as Jeffrey Allen Whitmore of Moss Beach. On Whitmore´s person was a bag with 1.4 grams of methamphetamine and .9 grams of marijuana.
Whitmore was placed under arrest and transported to the Tuolumne County Jail where he was booked for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; a glass smoking pipe.
