Modesto Resident Jailed For Methamphetamine Possession

Sonora, CA — Saturday evening Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Deputy Jeff Gempler arrested 22 year old Mark Alan Gilkey of the 20000 block of East Rumble Rd. in Modesto for possession-transportation of methamphetamine and possession of a methamphetamine smoking pipe.
Gempler stopped Gilkey´s 1996 Chevy Crew Cab pickup for erratic driving as it pulled into the Junction Shopping Center parking lot. Gempler discovered two marijuana cigarettes, a gram of methamphetamine and a methamphetamine smoking pipe.
Gilkey was arrested and booked into the county jail where he remains with bail set at $20,000.
