San Andreas, CA — Beginning in March 2007, Daylight Saving Time will start on the second Sunday in March and end on the first Sunday in November.
Since 1987, the Daylight Time began on the first Sunday in April and has historically always ended on the last Sunday in October.
According to the US Naval Observatory, not all places in the US observe daylight time. For example Hawaii and parts of Arizona don´t use it. And Indiana didn´t adopt it until 2006.
The new dates were set forth by the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
This year´s dates for daylight time begin on March 11 and end on November 4.
