School Bus Tangles With Tow Truck

Glencoe, CA — A Calaveras Unified School Bus was side swiped Monday morning by a tow truck traveling on Highway 26 near Glencoe.
The CHP says the tow truck, driven by 27-year old Timothy Bowman of Valley Springs, was traveling east on Highway 26 and drifted over the double yellow lines. At that time, the school bus, driven by 40-year old Christie Atnip of West Point, was approaching in the opposite direction.
The two vehicles side swiped each other and knocked off each of the vehicles´ mirrors.
The bus was carrying students at the time. No injuries were reported.
