Angels Camp, CA — While responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle, Angels Camp Police found a forgery operation.

Officers responded to the call in the 600 block of north Main Street Sunday morning.

The owner of the vehicle, 51-year old Jon Guess of Sacramento, had an outstanding warrant from Calaveras County Courts. Further investigation revealed the suspected forgery operation and a search warrant was issued.

During the search, forged Nevada driver licenses were found along with forged checks from numerous banks in other states. Forgery equipment was also recovered.
