Columbia, CA — Columbia College hopes to know by early next month, whether it is feasible to use geothermal energy to heat and cool the future Natural Resources Building.
Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Doug Lau, says a 300 ft. exploratory bore is complete, and a test will be conducted this coming Friday.
It will take approximately one additional week to analyze the results. Lau says the school hopes to know by the first week of March whether it will use geothermal heating and cooling at the facility.
