Filming In Calaveras Depends On Snow

Dorrington, CA – A San Francisco film will be shot next weekend in Dorrington, but only if it snows.
According to the Calaveras Visitors Bureau, the 20-minute fantasy suspense filmA Story About a Witch” will tape two scenes at the Dorrington Hotel, Sunday, February 25.
The producer Arusha Baker found the location while on a recent road trip but the film requires that it be snowing while taping.
The film will be screened at film festivals across the state. The bureau says it involves a little boy´s love of baseball, an ominous doll, a witch and Santa Claus.
