Problem At Bank Ends With Trespass Arrest
Jamestown, CA — A woman, identified as 44 year old Sue Ellen Valentine, was arrested in Jamestown Monday for repeatedly attempting to withdraw funds from a non-existent bank account.
A Sheriff´s deputy was called to the Umpqua Bank to escort the suspect away from the facility. In the event of a return, he warned that the bank has requested she be arrested for trespassing.
Ten minutes passed, and Umpqua called the Sheriff´s Department again. Valentine was in the bank telling an employee she had an account under a new name.
A deputy returned, and accepted a citizen´s arrest from a bank employee. Valentine was transported to county jail without incident.
