Sheriff Mele To Address Issues Facing Tuolumne County
Jamestown, CA– The first Community Town Hall Meeting will be held on Tuesday February 13th at 6pm at the Jamestown Community Hall on Main Street.
Tuolumne County Sheriff Jim Mele will hold the meeting which will cover topics including: vandalism, skateboarders on Main Street, crime specific to areas of affordable housing, patrol´s response to reports of crime, and school COPS program.
Attending the meeting will be Supervisor Dick Pland, senior staff members of the Sheriff´s Office, as well as the actual patrol deputies and supervisors who patrol the communities. Sheriff Mele will also be hosting meetings such as this one in other parts of the county.
Officials say those dates will be announced at a later time. The public is invited to attend as the purpose of these meetings will be to strengthen the partnership between the community and law enforcement.
