Visitors Bureau Touts Tourism

Angels Camp, CA — In an effort to promote tourism in Calaveras, the Calaveras Visitors Bureau is taking its message on the road.

This weekend the bureau will travel to Long Beach for the LA Times Travel and Adventure Show.

To attract visitors the bureau will have on hand the new Calaveras Activities Guide, the Calaveras Edition ofA Taste of California” and will also have a drawing for golf and accommodations at Greenhorn Creek.

It´s anticipated that more than 14,000 people will attend the show, which takes place at the Long Beach Convention Center.

The Visitors Bureau recently attended the Orange County Register Travel Show and plans to attend the Bay Area Travel Show, the Oakdale Chocolate Festival, the San Joaquin Home and Garden Show, the Fresno Home and Garden Show and Sunset Celebrations in Menlo Park.
