Lodi Youngster Injured In Murphys Bicycle Accident

Murphys, CA — Saturday evening at approximately 8:15 11 year old Jason Dunn of Lodi was riding his bicycle when he collided with a vehicle driven by 64 year old David Stitt of Grass Valley.
Dunn was riding on the east sidewalk of Main Street in Murphys when he suddenly crossed over the northbound lane and directly into the path of Stitt´s 2006 Toyota Scion.
According to the Highway Patrol Dunn suffered injuries to his right leg. Not only did he not have the required lighting on his bike, but he was not wearing a helmet.
Stitt was not cited.
