Camden Group Reports On Potential TGH Changes
Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors was given a report from the Camden Group Tuesday about what it would cost to run Tuolumne General Hospital following some major cuts and changes.
The Camden group is recommending that over 30 current offerings be dropped, including things such as radiology, extended care, ICU, nuclear medicine, anesthesia, emergency room, and extended care.
The cuts would bring the five year cost on the county down to $35 million. No decision regarding TGH was made at Tuesday´s meeting. Next month the Board will hear a report about the possibility of privatization.
